The Future is Female – Annual Appeal 2018
Whether you are already a part of our family or you simply believe in what we do, we need your help. As we honour and celebrate the legacy left by generous and passionate people who have gone before us, we need to turn our heads towards building our legacy for future generations.
This year the Rangi Ruru Girls’ School Annual Appeal will further enable us to support areas that will see our girls grow, challenge and encourage one another to become confident learners keen to take on the world.
To maintain our position as one of New Zealand’s leading girls’ schools, we must always be top of our game, delivering the very best education, supporting our girls to be the very best people they can be – out there, doing whatever they choose to do.
Our community is the most supportive family we could ask for and in 2018 we know they, you, will come together to support Rangi Ruru – just as the Gibson sisters did in 1889 when they established Rangi with a ground breaking vision to provide the very best education for girls. We constantly strive to honour that vision, providing scholarship opportunities, delivering personalised learning programmes and providing quality buildings and facilities that match and support the exceptional education our girls receive.
In 2018 we asked for your support for the following funds:
- Principal’s Koha Fund: This fund allows us to support our current families/whanau during times of hardship. This is a confidential arrangement between the school and the family and provides support and peace of mind during this difficult time.
- The Stellar Music Scholarship offers several new music scholarships and grants, enhances the current music programme with further opportunities to learn through additional workshops and masterclasses, and incites local, national and international talent to mentor and inspire.
- Mana Wahine Fund is a newly created fund that will enable us to nurture and support leadership development. It allows learners to delve deeper into self-leadership, be inspired from experts in the field and put their leadership learning into action. This fund will be supportive of all age groups at Rangi and will see students flourish under new opportunities and support that will aid their desire to self-improve.
Help us to make the dream possible for others – the future is female.
Thank you in advance.
