Ways to Give to Rangi Ruru

girlslunch-2008Making a Difference

Rangi Ruru is very grateful for the continued support of a large number of parents (both current and past), old girls, staff and friends of the school. The success of our giving programme is not only measured by how much money is raised but also by the participation of our community.

Whatever the size of your gift, whether it's a one-off donation or part of a regular giving scheme, it is your participation that is crucial and valued. We ask you to consider contributing to the school for the education of our current students and the generations of Rangi girls to come.

Your gift will make a difference

Ways people make a lasting contribution to the school and our students

glamisclan-2008Rangi Ruru seeks additional support from many sources, including our past and current school community. In addition to the Annual Giving Programme:

  • Annual Giving. Once a year, Rangi Ruru asks the whole school community to support one of a number of identified projects. This is a way to get the whole community involved in projects that impact on every girl at the school.
  • Wide Sky Vision With Fees (WSWF) contribution from Rangi Ruru current parents directly funds immediate annual projects.
  • Supporting Fundraising events run by the PTA, Development Committee and school for specific projects
  • Capital Gifts and Bequests. Larger donations from individuals or trusts. These are generally linked to ensuring opportunity for future generations in a particular passion of the donor. For example a significant donation to enable the school to invest funds to provide future scholarships, or toward a building or other large capital item. To confidentially explore Capital Gift or Bequest options phone Julie Moor, Principal or Grant Close, Chair of the Board of Governors.
  • Community Trusts and corporate donors are regularly approached to support school and student activities.
  • Time, expertise and energy. Everyday, members of our community invest their time to support, mentor, inspire and challenge our current students.
  • Gifts in Kind. Livestock, wool, grains, goods, services or other assets can be gifted to Rangi Ruru. To give livestock (beef, sheep or deer) call Peter Garde, Rural Livestock, 03 302 8878 and he will process your animals through local trade and send the money and details directly to Rangi Ruru.
  • Sponsorship and Advertising. Advertising in school publications or supporting school activities through sponsorship provide other ways to help. Provision can be made for a business to enter into an advertising or sponsorship agreement with the school. If you are interested, please contact the Communications Office.
All gifts are tax deductible and will be managed by the Rangi Ruru Trust until required by the school. Contact the Principal, Julie Moor to talk about the world of difference your gift could make.
