Acceptance of Place Fee for 2012

Offers of a place at Rangi Ruru are made from July of the year prior. To confirm your acceptance of a place in the school for your daughter, a one-off fee of $1,000 will be required. Of this $1,000, $750 will be credited against your final account. The $1,000 is non-refundable if you accept a place and later withdraw before commencing.
 

School & Boarding Fees 2012

School & Boarding Fees are adjusted on an annual basis in November of the year prior.

For New Zealand Students

Annual fees 2012
    Year 7 to 13 Tuition Fees $16,750 (GST inclusive) 
    Boarding Fees $12,400 (GST inclusive)

For New Zealand citizens, school and boarding fees are invoiced in ten equal instalments in January to October. 

A fee discount is offered to parents who wish to pay the full year's tuition fees in advance by 20th February (discount applies for cash, cheque or electronic transfer only). For more information please download the

For International Students

Annual fees 
    Tuition Fees 2012 $24,000 (GST inclusive) int2009
    Boarding Fees 2012 $12,400 (GST inclusive) NB: 2013 boarding fees will be confirmed November 2012 
 

A one-off, non-refundable fee of $1,000 will be required on acceptance of the school's offer of a place in the school (Confirmation Fee).
Annual International student fees are payable in full in advance as part of the New Zealand Government’s Student Visa requirement.

International fees are higher than New Zealand nationals as students are not eligible for the government contribution toward their education and international students require additional pastoral care services.

Rangi Ruru Girls' School is a signatory to the New Zealand Government’s Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. Copies of the Code are available on request from the school or from the New Zealand Ministry of Education website at http://www.minedu.govt.nz.

 Annual Voluntary Subscriptions Applies to both NZ and International Students

  • PTA Fee $30.00
    WSV Donation (contribution toward the school’s Capital Building Programme) $300 per family ($75 per family per term)
    RR Old Girl Association Registration $265, charged on first account in Year 12
