Enrolling at Rangi Ruru

The essence of Rangi Ruru is difficult to communicate in words. We would love you to visit us and experience for yourself the spirit, the fun, the love of learning and the sense of belonging that is Rangi Ruru.

Our Enrolment programme for 2012 is underway. Please contact us and arrange a time to visit, tour our school and meet some of our staff. Your daughter may also like to take part in Experience Rangi – an opportunity for girls looking at Year 7 or 9 enrolment in the following year to be a "Rangi girl" for half a day.

Enrolling for 2012
Years 7, 8 and 9.
Applications are still being considered for entry in 2012. If you are interested in enrolling your daughter in these year levels, please contact the Principal's Personal Assistant, Pauline Clegg (phone 03 983 3717 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ).

Years 10, 11, 12 and 13.
All enquiries should be made to Pauline Clegg. If you are interested in a place for your daughter, please complete an Application form and return this at any stage from now on. You may like to discuss the possibility of a place in these senior levels with Pauline before returning your application.

Waitlist and Interviews for 2013 and beyond
Applications for places in 2013 and beyond can be sent at any time.

Interviews
Our Principal, Julie Moor or a member of the Senior Management Team, meet with the majority of parents and daughters in the year prior to joining the Rangi family. The purpose of these meetings is for us to understand more about your daughter’s, and your, interests and expectations; to discuss what your daughter wishes to gain from the school and contribute to it; and to answer any questions you may have about Rangi Ruru. It is very important to us that your daughter will enjoy attending Rangi and will benefit from, and will make the most of, the opportunities offered here.

Interviews for places in Years 7, 8 and 9 are held from April with the first offer of places made at the end of June. Further interviews are held throughout the year.

Interviews for any places available in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 are held after August.
