The Enrolment programme for 2011 is underway.  
Years 7, 8 and 9. The first placement offers for 2011 will be made at the beginning of July to Year 7, 8 and 9 entrants. Late applications are still being considered for the second round of offers and if you are interested in enrolling your daughter for 2011 in these year levels, please contact the Principal's Personal Assistant, Pauline Clegg

Interviews for any places available in Years 10, 11, 12 and 13 will be held after August this year.  All enquiries should be made to Pauline Clegg. If you are interested in a place for your daughter, please complete an Application Form and return this at any stage from now on. Often we are not aware of places becoming available until later in the school year. You may like to discuss the possibility of a place in these senior levels with Pauline before returning your application.

Experience the 'spirit of Rangi Ruru'

The real essence of Rangi Ruru is something that can't really be communicated in words. We'd love you to visit us and experience for yourself the spirit, the fun, the love of learning and the sense of belonging that is Rangi Ruru.

You can do this by any or a mix of the options below:

• attending our Open Day and/or our Insight into Rangi - Information evening (usually at the beginning of May)
• contacting the school to arrange a time for a tour
• experience what it's like to be a "Rangi girl" as part of Experience Rangi. Where girls considering becoming join a class of Year 9 students for half a day.
• contact us and arrange a time to visit, tour our school and meet some of our staff

Waitlist and Interviews for 2011 and beyond

To place your daughter’s name on the school’s waiting list, please complete and return the Application for Enrolment Form with relevant information and application fee. We recommend that you register your interest in Rangi Ruru as soon as possible as there is often a high demand for places, particularly for students joining us in Years 7, 8 and 9.

Our Principal, Julie Moor or a member of the Senior Managment Team, meet with the majority of parents and daughters in the year prior to joining the Rangi family. The purpose of these meetings is for us to understand more about your daughter’s, and your, interests and expectations; to discuss what your daughter wishes to gain from the school and contribute to it; and to answer any questions you may have about Rangi Ruru. It is very important to us that your daughter will enjoy attending Rangi and will benefit from, and will make the most of, the opportunities offered here.
