Catch up in Cambridge

Judith Baker (Croy) and Sue Milner (Coutts) are planning a drinks and nibbles function in Cambridge for Waikato Bay of Plenty Old Girls on Friday April 1st during the Maadi Cup Rowing Regatta.

Old Girls who may be attending the Regatta as support people for Rangi Ruru and other schools would be very welcome. Rangi Ruru Principal Julie Moor will be attending.
A cover charge of $7.50 will cover the nibbles, and drinks will be at own cost.

Old Girls' Association (RROGA)

RROG-logoThe Rangi Ruru Old Girls' Association is very active and has a membership of over 3,000 former students.

Members give generously of their time and support the school through a Scholarship Fund, the donation of prizes, the organisation of the Leavers' Ball, and with special celebrations such as the annual 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 years on reunions, the Annual General Meeting dinner/luncheon and opportunities for members to meet for fellowship and news of the school.

The association has branches in many parts of New Zealand and around the world, offering:

  •     fellowship within the Rangi Ruru family past and present
  •     the opportunity to renew and continue friendships
  •     continuing contact with Rangi Ruru Girls' School and news of the school
  •     links with the branches throughout New Zealand and with kindred associations
  •     avenues to continue support of Rangi Ruru now and in the future
  •     an annual magazine - the RROGA Newsletter

Membership of the RROGA
Membership of the Rangi Ruru Old Girls' Association is open to all old girls of Rangi Ruru Girls' School, and to present and past members of staff who held appointment for two years or longer.
