A bequest can be much larger than any cash gift you can make to the school in your lifetime and therefore of much greater influence in the difference it can make to the lives of Rangi girls.
Bequests and legacies can take the form of a percentage of an estate; a fixed financial amount; assets such as land, buildings, equipment, art or books; or a life insurance policy.
All bequests to the school are placed in the Rangi Ruru Foundation and the income or capital is then directed to the school in accordance with the benefactor’s wishes. They can be general or specific.
It is easy and relatively inexpensive to alter your will with the addition of a codicil, but we recommend you ask your solicitor for advice. We would like to have the opportunity to thank you for your bequest in your lifetime.
